Nagano Snow Monkey Park With Beef Sukiyaki And Gods Wine Tour
Hop on a climate-controlled vehicle at Tokyo’s Shinjuku Station, and set off for the Nagano Prefecture. After a scenic drive, you'll reach the base of the mountainous monkey park. Here, enjoy a delicious lunch featuring beef sukiyaki and Nagano Wine (also known as "God’s Drink"). Vegetarian options are available as well.
Depending on the season, you may continue the journey to Jogokudani Monkey Park by bus, or take a peaceful walk to the entrance during the winter months. Inside the park, observe the famous red-faced Japanese macaques soaking in the steaming hot springs, a behavior they adopt to stay warm during the frigid temperatures.
Explore the snow-covered landscape, but be sure to respect the monkeys’ space while capturing photos of the serene setting. Afterward, return to the bus for the ride back to Shinjuku.
Note: If you're traveling between January 20th and February 26th, there will be an additional stop at Kamakura no Sato to view the beautiful, illuminated snow huts.
